• Never drop your dentures. They're very delicate... put them in a safe place when they're not in use and keep dentures away from children and pets. When cleaning your dentures, be sure to do so over a soft cloth or a washbasin full of water.
• Always clean your dentures daily with a soft brush and a mild cleanser - either a denture cleanser or even mild handsoap or dishwashing liquid!
• Never use hot water to clean your dentures. This can cause them to warp. Instead, use cool or lukewarm water with a mild cleanser.
• Never use hard brushes, abrasive cleaners, powdered household cleaners, or bleaching agents to clean your dentures. All of these can cause serious damage.
• Always put your dentures in a denture cleanser soaking solution or water to keep them from drying out and warping.

• Chips, cracks, or broken pieces off the denture. This damage can cause serious injury to your mouth. You should not wear your dentures and see a dentist immediately.
• Loosened teeth or significant wear of the teeth in the denture. While this may not need to be fixed immediately, you should call your dentist and let them know. Loosened teeth may be able to be fixed quickly and inexpensively, while significant wear may indicate a new denture is needed.
